‘Three generations!’ Jessica Simpson, 42, makes rare move of posing with mini-me daughter Maxwell, 10, and youthful-looking mother Tina, 62

Jessica Simpson posted a sweet family photo to Instagram on Thursday evening.

It was three generations of Simpson women: Jessica, 42, was joined by her mother Tina Simpson, 62, as well as her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, 10.

The ladies were in the Simpson Style studio in Los Angeles after appearing on HSN to sell fall fashion. ‘Three Generations of Cozy! Thanks for having us HSN,’ wrote the songbird in her caption.

Jessica looked stylish in a plaid shirt with dark blue jeans, a cowgirl belt and boots as her hair was worn down.

Her daughter Maxwell had on a teddy bear coat over a beige outfit, and Tina was in black look with turquoise accents.

Jessica was also seen in a long maxi dress in an autumnal color as she posed with her mom in the same showroom.

The entrepreneur also has daughter Birdie Mae, age three, and son Ace Knute, nine, with her husband Eric Johnson.

Earlier on Thursday she plugged her HSN visit.

The performer shared a video of herself showing off her chic look at Cadillac Jacks Cafe.

In the footage, she can be seen smiling at the camera before sauntering forward and twirling as she flipped her waist-length blonde tresses.

‘A special @hsn event premieres TONIGHT! We’re LIVE at midnight EST and throughout the day tomorrow 11/17! Tune In for holiday favorites, the perfect gifts and a whole lot of fun!’ the mom-of-three’s clothing brand captioned a picture of her.

Earlier this month, Simpson appeared to respond to concern from fans that she was slurring her words in the ‘strange’ ad with a video of her singing along to her 2020 song Party of One.

Working it! Simpson looked beautiful in a long-sleeve blue minidress and silver pumps while teasing her upcoming HSN appearance

In addition to passionately reciting the lyrics ‘I don’t give a f**k about you,’ she wrote a lengthy caption, declaring that she’s been alcohol-free for five years while detailing how she blocks out the ‘destructive noise’ of people’s comments and judgements.

She also belted out the chorus of the poignant ballad: ‘Look in the mirror/ Straight in my eyes/ Tell myself I’m not broken/ Just ’cause I cry/ It’s a love song/ Party of one.’

‘I’m not weak ’cause I don’t want to fight/ I am more than my body/ More than my wealth/ I am more than these demons/ Holding me down/ It’s a love song/ Party of one/ I know it’s bad for my health to hate myself.’

Simpson began her caption writing: ‘I needed to be in my studio today because this is where I ground myself and heal. As much as I have learned to block out destructive noise…peoples’ comments and judgements can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging “you will never be good enough,”’ she began her caption.

Hitting back: Earlier this month, Simpson appeared to respond to concern from fans that she was slurring her words in the ‘strange’ ad with a video of her singing along to her 2020 song Party of One

‘The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism, is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it. I am capable of pretty much anything I care enough about to put my mind to. I am present. I am deeply inspired. I am determined. I am honest. I care about other people.’

She went on: ‘After grounding myself just now with my voice and the lyrics across my heart, I feel compassion for the opinionated hate that some people can so effortlessly just blurt out with such intensity on social media or in the media in general.’

‘We all have our days of wanting to be, look, do, and feel better. Nobody is alone with that feelin’ that I can promise you. I woke up at the same time anxious and insecure but also also angry and defensive — like some of you.’

‘I know what works for me and that is to let go and simply sing while lookin directly inside the mirror, straight in my eyes to really see and understand myself. I can connect with my heartbeat. I am stable and strong. I am home.’

‘A little advice…live inside your dreams and move through them. Don’t give up on yourself because someone else did. Stay true to YOU. It has worked for me in this chaotic life thus far. Nothin’ and nobody will rob me of my joy. Ya might come close but it is mine to own. Yours should be too.’

Cute smiles: Birdie and Jessica beamed while showing her bedroom

In September, Simpson addressed her 100lb weight loss, which she lost in 2019 after having her three children; Maxwell, Ace and Birdie.

The star revealed to Extra’s Terri Seymour that what really helped her slim down was changing her menu.

‘I went to a nutritionist, and I needed to get my eating habits right,’ she said. When asked if she feels ‘healthy,’ the siren said: ‘I absolutely feel healthy.’

She added, ‘I don’t know. I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones going wild.

‘I feel younger, actually. I have a lot more energy and yeah, I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie. Maybe Birdie will outgrow them because Maxwell has already outgrown me!’

She works out more often: her trainer is Harley Pasternak.

And she follows Harley’s Body Reset Diet plan, which includes three meals a day to ‘keep the metabolism humming’ as well as smoothies and snacks.

Junk food is a rarity but sometimes she cheats with sweets like powdered donuts.

Terri asked, ‘Why are people obsessed with your weight and how you look? Have you gotten used to it?’

‘Oh, gosh, no,’ she said. ‘Would any woman?’
