Katie Price and Carl Woods to call off wedding’ after ‘petty rows’

Just last month, Katie Price hinted she was ready to marry fiancé Carl Woods as she searched for wedding dress designers.

But OK! can reveal pals close to the couple now fear they won’t make it down the aisle after a string of recent rows.

“A lot of drama that has happened between Katie and Carl seems to have been brushed under the carpet, but their relationship doesn’t seem that strong at the moment and friends think it could be over soon,” a source told us.

“They’ve been having small rows – it’s just petty things. Katie will swear at him and get really impatient with him. She can get like that towards the end of a relationship and pals think they could be at that point.

"Those close to them don’t think that they’ll end up getting married. Her family don’t spend that much time with him – and he wasn’t invited to her sister Sophie’s wedding earlier this year.”

The reality TV star – who has already been married to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler – recently went on a holiday with Carl at upmarket Sandbanks in Dorset.

And our source said that the arguments between the couple continued while they were away.

Katie, 44, who announced her engagement to Carl, 33, in April last year, previously took to Instagram Stories to ask fans for help in her hunt for a quirky gown.

Sharing a picture of her ring, she wrote: “Any wedding dress designers that are creative and different, DM me.”

She has been open about her wedding plans and how she wants the day to be something that cuts out all of the usual celebrity razzmatazz.

“Put it this way, the wedding that I want, if you Googled it, no one has ever done it before,” she said last year.

“No wall-to-wall celeb faces. It’ll be about us, Carl and our family, coming together. I want the focus on Carl as much as me.”

Katie – who shares her kids Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, with Peter, and nine-year-old Jett and eight-year-old Bunny with Kieran, and is also mum to Harvey, 20, whose father is footballer Dwight Yorke – has had her fair share of ups and downs with Carl.

Since they got together in 2020 the couple has been plagued by several rumours of a split.

Most recently, in August, Katie was reportedly heard telling people during a night out that her “engagement was over”, something Carl furiously denied.

“All of you are full of s**t,” he ranted on Instagram Stories. “Look, here she is. I’m still at the f**king house. All this, ‘Oh, we want her shot of him.’ Why don’t you all just f**k off?”

The car dealer added: “Because you know something, you wanna know the truth?

"I’m the best f**king fella she’s ever had. And I’m the one that suffers the s**t, no one else.”

A representative for Katie told us: “Kate and Carl are happy and settled as far as the family are concerned.”
