Kerry Katona shows off weight loss as daughter plays in garden ‘swimming pool’

Kerry Katona has shown off her impressive weight loss as she enjoys the summer heat.

The former Atomic Kitten member, 42, embarked on a lifestyle overhaul earlier this year and back in April told OK! that she could now fit back in her old size 12 jeans.

Kerry showed off her slimmer frame as she took to her Instagram Story while enjoying the hot weather over the weekend. As she relaxed in her garden, Kerry said: "Wow what a great day it is!"

She followed this up with a rather hilarious video of a makeshift "pool" she have put together for her daughter. Beginning her video Kerry said: "So to save you money this year…

"We went everywhere looking for a pool and we couldn't find one, so Ryan made one." She then showed her daughter sitting in a plastic box, full of water. Laughing, Kerry added: "Might as well of got a puddle."

After posting the clip to her Story, Kerry re-shared it to her Instagram Grid, where it left her 816k followers in stitches. One commented: "What you guys like [two laughing emojis]."

"Love a bit of imagination [sun emoji] [swimming emoji]" added a second, while another quipped: "Proper old fashioned 80s pool that hahahaha… Didn't do us any harm lol #genx [laughing emoji]."

In April, Kerry told us how her health and fitness journey was off to a great start: "I’ve lost 8lb in a week and I’m back in my size 12 jeans! I feel amazing. It’s all thanks to the FrancisDiet, plus working out with my fitness brand M-Fit.

"Last week I posted a video of myself exercising with no filter on. I felt so vulnerable sharing it, but it’s important to show what real bodies look like.

As I’ve been busy working away, a meal prep company called Woo’d By Food have provided me with lots of yummy, healthy meals while I’m on the go. I’ll admit I’ve been a yo-yo dieter in the past, but the FrancisDiet is really working for me. I have a support group on WhatsApp for encouragement to keep me going and my goal is to drop two more dress sizes. I know I’ll get there!"
