Lila Moss stuns in lilac mini dress as she walks the runway for Versace in Cannes

Lila Moss stunned as she strutted the runway in a lilac mini dress in Dua Lipa and Donatella Versace’s high summer fashion show in Cannes.

Part of the ‘La Vacanza’ collection, the ‘Cady’ dress featured a crystal mesh band with the label's signature buckle detailing and the Medusa emblem inspired by Versace’s SS95 designs.

While the 20-year-old model has previously showcased her talent on the catwalk for Versace, Coperni, and Miu Miu, her previous runway appearances have consistently reflected her naturally stylish yet slightly unconventional fashion preferences – undoubtedly inherited from her mother, famed supermodelKate Moss.

Kate shares daughter Lila with her ex-boyfriend and editor Jefferson Hack, whom she dated in the early 2000s.

However, Lila’s appearance at the show took her style in a completely different direction. In addition to the vibrant pastel dress and striking metallic platforms, she sported a high, voluminous ponytail that elegantly swept her long blonde tresses back, playing on a strong 1960s aesthetic.

Lila is signed to her mum’s modelling agency, Kate Moss Agency, and landed her first Vogue cover at just 19 years old. Lila spoke out about her younger years and how she began to process that her mother was a famous supermodel at age eight.

Lila told British Vogue: "That was when I realised the paparazzi thing, that they were interested in her, for some reason.

"Then I went to secondary school, and everyone was like, 'Oh, your mum's Kate Moss!' You don't really have a filter when you're that young, and I was like, 'How do you know who she is? She's old! She's old and boring!’”

Kate also previously reflected on her experience watching her daughter on the catwalk, describing in a video for British Vogue: "I was really nervous for her. I was sitting around the kitchen table … Some girlfriends [were there] and we were waiting for the show to start on the link. When she came out we were like, 'She's doing it! She's doing it!' Yeah, I was really proud."

A front row of star-studded guests converged to witness Lila in Dua and Donatella’s show, including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Simone Ashley and Lewis Hamilton.

Dua said on the collection: “Donatella and I bonded over our shared love of this time of year while making this collection. Digging through the archives we discovered we were drawn to a lot of the same references which was such an inspiring and fulfilling process.

“La Vacanza ranges from metallic miniskirts and sexy bikinis, to butterfly rings and printed pieces inspired by the Versace SS ’95 collection. There’s always an occasion to wear Versace, and I know I’ll be spending my days (and nights!) in La Vacanza all summer long.”

This collection marks Dua's debut in the realm of design collaborations and is particularly exciting as Versace, for the first time, has invited a co-collaborator to contribute, showcasing the strong foothold Dua has established within the fashion industry.
