Lorraine star Ross King ‘secretly splits from wife’ 22 years his junior after seven years

Lorraine star Ross King MBE is said to have secretly split from his wife, US-born Brianna Deutsch, seven years after they tied the knot.

The pair are thought to have quietly split over two years ago, before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, but remained "amicable".

Ross and Brianna's wedding was a star-studded affair, with a performance from Ross' friend, Take That's Gary Barlow, and attended by Gerard Butler, Jackie Collins, Patsy Palmer and Vinnie Jones.

The Sun reports that a source close to 60 year old Ross said: “The pair have remained amicable and still run in the same circles, they just realised they weren’t on the same page romantically any more.

“Ross loves living in Hollywood and has been throwing himself into work and writing novels.”

OK! has contacted Ross' representatives for comment.

Ross was born in Scotland but now lives in Los Angeles, and he's seen almost daily on UK and Europe TV in his role as celebrity correspondent for LA on ITV's Good Morning Britain (which he's done since 2014) and the Lorraine Kelly show, Lorraine (since 2001).

Val Helsing actress Brianna is 22 years Ross' junior, aged 38 to his 60 years, and Ross has previously said that their age-difference had never been an issue in the relationship.

He said: “She’s beautiful and I know I’m punching well, well above my weight.

"The age difference has never been an issue.

“I want to have kids too. I’m not worried about being an older dad. I’m a big family man."

Glasgow-born Ross has also previously discussed homesickness, but admitted that he's very happy with his Hollywood life.

He said: "I still get homesick for my mum and sister in Scotland and come back as often as possible.

“But I get up every day and from my house in the hills I look out across the Hollywood sign. It always makes me smile."

“I’m a kid from Knightswood in Glasgow. It still feels like a fairy tale.”

Ross celebrated his 60th birthday in February of this year, and he was left feeling emotional after Lorraine Kelly surprised him with some messages from his celebrity pals during his segment on her long-running ITV show.

"Ross there was lots of people who wanted to wish you a very happy birthday, have a look at this…" Lorraine said as the screen changed to show Gary Barlow outside.

"Rossy, bonjour, incroyable, bonne anniversaire!" Gary told him.

Gerard Butler then came onto the screen dressed in a black and white patterned scarf and a hat as he said: "I love you pal, I've had the best time with you over the years. I consider you a good friend, but I love what you've done through your career – everywhere, in the UK and in the US for years."

Another scene showed Ross' family speaking from their home as they said: "Happy birthday Ross! Can't wait to see you soon and celebrate all together."

Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas were up next as she said: "Happy birthday Rossykins!" as Michael chimed: "Hey Ross! Happy birthday!"
