Friday evening’s episode of Love Island brought a challenge, a pancake battle, and even a full recoupling.
But, as it was the girls’ turn to pick, viewers of the show were left disappointed by the recoupling after the new bombshells were left last to choose.
With the original girls kicking things off, fans took social media to blast the show as ‘boring’ and ‘predictable’, as they called for a format change.

Despite the episode showing new bombshell Nathalia Campos fighting for Davide Sanclimenti’s affections, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu had first pick during the recoupling – and stuck with her man.
More predictable pairings followed suit, with Tasha Ghouri sticking with Andrew Le Page, Gemma Owen choosing Luca Bish, Paige Thorne gushing over Adam Collard and Indiyah Polack going for Dami Hope after their night in the hideaway.
And after Danica Taylor had the choice between two bombshells – Reece Ford and Jamie Allan – the dancer opted for the latter.

New girl Lacey then chose Casa Amor bombshell Deji Adeniyi, leaving Nathalia last to pick – with Reece as her only option.
Arguing that the order wasn’t fair on Nathalia, one viewer slammed: ‘Most boring episode ever why did Nathalia not get to choose first?’
‘Recoupling so predictable, Nathalia should have picked before Ekin-Su! It’s getting boring now…,’ complained another.

Calling on ITV2 to switch things up, one fan tweeted: ‘It’s time for a format change leaving recoupling task & vote off decisions completely in the public’s hands.’
Nathalia appeared to draw the short straw during the episode, after coming into the villa with her sights set on both Davide and Adam.
Proving it could be too close to the final for heads to turn, both men placed Nathalia in the friendzone as they stuck with Ekin-Su and Paige.
Time for change? Calling on ITV2 to switch things up, one fan tweeted: ‘It’s time for a format change leaving recoupling task & vote off decisions completely in the public’s hands’
But the Brazilian bombshell didn’t appear to be going down without a fight, later butting heads with Ekin-Su as the actress questioned: ‘Do you have a problem with me?’
The pair sorted things out over a pancake cooking battle, with Davide being left to judge with a taste test, as Ekin-Su ultimately took the win.
With the final just days away, it appears heads could finally be impossible to turn.
