Love Island fans say ‘blue theory’ proves Indiyah and Dami were ‘meant to be’ from day one

A Love Island conspiracy theory has been circling the realms of social media, which fans claim prove Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack were "meant to be" from day one.

A handful of fans of the hit ITV2 dating series have banded together to devise "blue theory", whereby the colour blue – which is often deemed to signify serenity, calmness and success – was present in almost all of lovebirds Dami and Indiyah's romantic scenes and highlights from the show.

After one fan of the show challenged others to "look for pictures of when they were wearing blue and explain what happened" – hundreds of fellow viewers have replied with evidence that the pair were "meant to be" from the very beginning with their colour conspiracy.

Even before entering the Mallorcan love shack, one fan noticed that on each of their promotional photo shoots, they held the same flag bearing the word 'love' written in a teal shade of blue.

Then during the initial line-up – which saw the public paired the Irish scientist up with Amber Beckford and the hotel waitress with Ikenna Ekwonna – Indiyah donned a turquoise two-piece as she appeared to set her sights on Dami from the get go.

The pair's first kiss in the weeks that followed saw 23-year-old Indiyah rocking her pale blue bikini for the 'Anything to Declare' challenge', whilst the first time the couple locked lips outside a challenge saw Indiyah styling a navy denim playsuit.

Just a couple of episodes later, 26-year-old Dami threw an aqua pillow at Indiyah the night he asked her if she felt a connection.

During the 'sex position' challenge, during which the pair cut some raunchy shapes together, their fellow Islander Ekin-Su Culculoglu can be seen passing them a blue balloon to use.

When Dami and Indiyah were finally able to 'couple up' officially, following the dumping of their partners Amber and Ikenna, Indiyah showed off her figure in a pale blue bodycon dress.

One eagle-eyed Love Island fan also pointed out that during the entire period by which the pair were separated by Casa Amor – during which Dami 'cracked on' with bombshell Summer Botwe and Indiyah got to know new boy Deji Adeniyi – Indiyah chose not to wear anything blue.

Later, though Indiyah and Deji called time on their arguably platonic romance before she made amends with Dami, during Deji's dumping, Dami wore a blue shirt, with some fans have interpreted as him 'manifesting' the new lad's departure.

The evening that the pair made their relationship official by becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, Indiyah donned a breath-taking aqua mini dress, whilst during the long-anticipated 'Baby Challenge', Indiyah once again rocked her denim frock.

Whilst during the final week, Indiyah once again rocked her much-loved aqua bikini when she met Dami's family in Ireland over video call.
