Love Island’s Ekin-Su says ‘icons only’ as she poses with Margot Robbie at Barbie premiere

Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has shared a string of images posing with Margot Robbie at the London Barbie film premiere on Wednesday (12 July).

Taking to Instagram, Ekin-Su, 28, penned: "Icons only Margot you are magic @barbiethemovie #barbiethemovie @warnerbrosuk" with a heart emoji.

In the snap, Ekin-Su and Love Island super-fan Margot both rocked pink outfits as they beamed to the camera. Margot, 33, who takes on the titular role of Barbie in the hotly-anticipated film, opted for a candy floss coloured silk corset dress, which featured a long train and flower. She wore matching white gloves, in an outfit styled on a classic Barbie doll.

The A-list star added a pearl necklace choker and matching earrings, and she styled her blonde locks into a sleek updo.

Meanwhile Ekin-Su opted for a pinkly sparkly off-the-shoulder mini dress as she posed up a storm. She kept her long dark locks in loose curls, falling down her back. Fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One simply said: "Amazing!" while another said: "ICONS" and a third penned: "We just know Margot was fangirling over you!!" Another further reiterated Margot's love of the smash hit reality dating show: "The fact Margot said she had a Love Island themed birthday makes this epic".

"Margot Robbie is an Ekin fan confirmed", commented another. One said: "The selfie we all needed to see! Good to see you smiling Ekin, you looking amazing". And another added: "Ekin is proof that not every Barbie needs a ken to thrive!"

Ekin-Su's public appearance comes after she finally broke her silence on her break-up with Davide Sanclimenti. The former couple won last year's summer edition of Love Island, and fast became one of the most popular pairings to ever grace the villa.

Sadly, despite many red carpet appearances together and even a sun-soaked trip to the Maldives only a few months before, Italian star Davide, 27, announced the couple had parted ways last month.

After remaining quiet on his statement and the subsequent reports, 28 year old Turkish actress Ekin-Su has finally emerged from a "much needed" break with her family to address the split.

"Hi everyone, I thought it was time to come back online to thank you so much for all of your messages over the past two weeks," the star shared in a statement on her Instagram stories.

"It has shown me what a kind, supportive, strong community I have behind me. I took some much needed time away with my family which has been really special but now it's time to realign and get back to work," the reality TV star continued.

Going on to say she has "such an exciting year ahead," Ekin-Su seems determined to focus on the various opportunities coming her way, and put her love life to one side for now. Davide was also present at the Barbie premiere.
