Love Island’s Jess plotting to get Molly out the villa, claims host

Love Island teases arrival of two new islanders

During Sunday night’s episode of Love Island viewers saw Mitchel Taylor, Jess, 22, and Catherine Agbaje watch on as Molly, 21, talks to Zachariah, 25, that evening.

Jess hit out at Molly and says: “I don’t trust her as far as I can throw her. Mitch, you deserve better than that, she’s mugging you off in broad daylight.”

Referring to the kiss in the challenge between Zach and Molly, Jess says to Mitch: “She was secretly buzzing at that kiss, I know she was. I really wanna say something…”

It has now been claimed by Love Island podcast host Sam Thompson and ex-islander Indiyah Polack that Jess wants Molly out of the villa.

Speaking on their show today, Love Island: The Morning After, Sam said: “Jess has a real issue with Molly. Again, she is on that balcony going, ‘Molly’s got things to worry about.’

Their co-host Kae Kurd interjected: “She’s always stirring. Always saying, ‘that’s out of order.'”

“It’s always those two,” Sam said. “It’s like the battle of the blondes. She really doesn’t like Molly.”

During Monday night’s episode, two new bombshells entered the villa – social media marketer Leah Taylor and dental nurse Charlotte Sumner – who were both hoping to woo some of the boys already on the show away from their current partners.

The original islanders watched from the balcony as Zachariah, Tyriek and Mitchel wooed the two new arrivals with specially cooked meals.

Indiyah commented: “[Jess] wants Molly to lose all her side ‘tings’ and to just be alone.”

Sam continued: “Jess also said about Molly, ‘I wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her.’ If you say things like that you have to have a reason.

“Personally, I think this could be because she wants Mitchel on side. I don’t know whether she wants to be with Mitch.”

Indiyah agreed: “She wants to get one up on Molly and take her down. I think Jess wants more options.”

Kae added he doesn’t believe Mitchel is interested in pursuing a romance with Jess.

Meanwhile, dumped islander George Fensom joined them on the podcast and revealed his parents had voted for him to be paired with Jess.

“Adam Collard has been on [Love Island] like nine times. So I have a feeling about coming back for Casa,” he commented.

Kae asked: “Is there anybody in there – apart from the bombshells – that you have already spoken to that you think, you know what let’s give this a try?”

George replied: “It’s really hard. It’s actually what my mum and dad were thinking. So my mum and dad voted for me and Jess to be together at the start.”

Love Island airs weeknights on ITV2 at 9pm.
