Love Island’s Ron and Lana say Olivia and Maxwell will be next couple to split

Love Island contestants Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have predicted that Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda will be the next ones to break up.

This year’s winter series wrapped earlier this month as Maya Jama crowned Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan as winners.

Following the finale, the remaining couples have been enjoying life outside of the South African villa and were earlier pictured partying away in Manchester.

Ron and Lana have since spoken out about which couple they believe will break up first, with Maxwell and former Michelle Keegan body double Olivia being their top pick.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Ron, 25, explained: “I think they will just because they never had enough time in there. We’ve never really spoken to them about how it’s been outside.”

“Yeah we haven’t caught up with them yet,” Lana added.

Fans speculated earlier this month that Maxwell and Olivia had already broken up as the former ventured to Mexico for a solo holiday.

Olivia, who has been receiving death threats since the show ended, put the rumours to bed while chatting with Gogglebox stars Joe and George Baggs on their podcast.

“There’s been rumours that we split up, I went to the football and he went to an event, but no we’re literally fine,” she said. “We’re really good, cool, calm, collected. He’s a good guy and he treats me nice."

Ironically, Ron and Lana’s relationship was far from easy on the show, and it was often unclear whether they would make it to the final together at all.

Ron’s head was seemingly turned by the introduction of each new bombshell, reducing Lana to tears on more than one occasion, but they soon made things official and have been going strong ever since.

One couple who has already bitten the dust is Rosie Seabrook and Casey O’Gorman, whose coupling up on the show created massive controversy.

"How are things with you and Rosie?" a fan asked during Casey’s recent Instagram Q&A, to which he replied: "Rosie and I have spoken… she's such a great girl.

"Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward!" he added.

Rosie also confirmed the split herself in a vlog on her YouTube channel, where she slammed her former flame for ghosting her.

“Coming back to the UK we barely spoke if I'm honest. We were both with friends and family,” she scathed. "That's fine but for me, I think I did reach out and I didn't really hear anything back and I felt there was not any effort made."

"I think the doubts that I had in the villa became very apparent when we left Love Island and I feel it just confirmed what I was thinking,” she added.
