Maura Higgins teases Love Island return with cryptic photo

Former Love Island star Maura Higgins, who first featured on the hit ITV show in 2019, has teased an iconic Love Island return with a cryptic photo she posted to her Instagram.

The Irish beauty shared the snap when she had just got off a fight to an unknown location, as she took a quick photo of what looked like two chauffeurs picking her up. The chauffeurs were holding a sign each that read 'Got A Text' with the Love Island logo printed below it.

Fans took to twitter to speculate the cryptic post as one reposted the picture and said: "Ummm has Maura Higgins just… bye Leah and Montel ig", while another added: "I need a Maura Higgins kinda bombshell".

Another fan recently said: "If bringing back a past member of love island is becoming a thing I would love to see Maura Higgins back in".

The Love Island finalist finished fourth with her then boyfriend Curtis Pritchard in the 2019 series of the reality show, however they split soon after.

It was only last month that Maura Higgins was spotted kissing and cuddling her new Hollywood stuntman boyfriend by the pool on their romantic break to Ibiza. The 32-year-old looked besotted with new man Bobby Holland Hampton, who has been the stuntman and body double for Marvel actor Chris Hemsworth for 12 years.

39 year old Bobby is a stuntman and, according to his website, has worked on 50 feature films. He has also worked alongside other A-listers including Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Angelina Jolie and Dame Judi Dench. Growing up, Bobby was a gymnast and competed in countries including the US.

However, the sportsman retired from the sport when he was 17 years old and focused on football before eventually training to become a professional stuntman.

Known for often trying to keep her relationships under wraps, the Irish TV personality packed on a PDA by the pool as she laughed and joked with her beau. Showing off the results of her intensive work-outs, Maura looked incredible in her tiny two-piece bikini and minimal makeup.

Maura's relationship with Bobby comes after a string of high-profile break-ups for the star, most recently with Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice. The couple started dating in 2021 but split months later, deleting all traces of each other from their Instagram accounts.
