Megyn Kelly calls Chrissy Teigen a 'needy, attention-starved bully'

Megyn Kelly calls Chrissy Teigen a ‘needy, attention-starved bully’ after her husband John Legend called the journalist ‘desperate’

  •  The journalist, 52, doubled down on her opinion that Teigen is ‘elitist’ and ‘out of touch’ on the latest episode of her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show
  •  ‘How dare you lecture anyone on needing attention, sir,’ she fired back at Legend, before slamming his defense of Teigen, who he described as a ‘kind and loving person’
  • Kelly pointed out that ‘Teigen has a long and very dark history’ of ‘repeated bullying of young teenagers’ like Courtney Stodden

Megyn Kelly responded to John Legend’s comments defending his wife Chrissy Teigen after she mocked her ‘for having her minions carry her train to the White House correspondence dinner’ last week.

In response to the 52-year-old journalist’s cheeky remarks on her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, the All of Me hitmaker, 44, claimed she was targeting his spouse, 37, for ‘attention’ and to rebuild her conservative audience after getting the axe from Fox News.

On Monday, the mother-of-three doubled down on her opinion that Teigen is ‘elitist’ and ‘out of touch’ as she chuckled at his remark that she only poked fun at his wife for views.

‘John suggested I only mocked his wife because I’m desperate for attention,’ she said, with a laugh. ‘Sweet, John. It must be so hard to live with that on your arm and in your bed every day and night. And, see anything else as you survey the women of this world.’

The media personality then suggested that he may have a warped ‘view of women on this Earth’ because he his own wife proudly showed ‘her panties to the president.’

Speaking out: In response to the 52-year-old journalist’s cheeky remarks on her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, the All of Me hitmaker, 44, claimed she was targeting his spouse, 37, for ‘attention’ and to rebuild her conservative audience after getting the axe from Fox News; Teigen seen out on Monday

‘It’s probably really embarrassing I get it,’ she continued.

Kelly went on to explain how it is baffling he would accuse her of being desperate for ‘attention’ when Teigen took ‘photos of her abortion’ and treated it like ‘a PR photo op.’

She explained how that moment ‘should be the most private and intimate’ moment and how it would ‘probably extremely uncomfortable’ to have a spouse that wanted to document and upload the images to the world.

The Illinois native, who is married to novelist Douglas Brunt, then pointed out that Legend was by his wife’s side and posed for photos, which she said were to ‘promote their brand.’

‘How dare you lecture anyone on needing attention, sir,’ she fired, before specifically slamming his defense of Teigen, who he described as a ‘kind and loving person.’

Kelly pointed out that ‘Teigen has a long and very dark history’ of ‘repeated bullying of young teenagers.’

She was referring to some of Teigen’s old tweets in the mid-2010s, which included repeatedly telling Courtney Stodden, then 16, to commit suicide.

‘There’s a long long record of this bully going after young people wanting them to take their own lives,’ Kelly pointed out.

‘Chrissy Teigen is a sick, relentless cruel self-aggrandizing needy attention-starved bully she deserves every bit of criticism she gets and trust me there’s plenty more of it in,’ the journalist concluded.

It comes after Legend defended his wife Teigen after Kelly shared her scathing reaction to the outfit she wore to the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Kelly recently criticized the dress that Teigen wore to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner during an episode of her self-titled SiriusXM show that aired this past week, during which the talk show host described the assistants who held up the train of the model’s ‘nonexistent dress’ as ‘minions.’

Legend later spoke to TMZ and detailed his opinion of the former television personality’s commentary.

He stated: ‘Megyn, you know, she likes attention. She needs it after she got fired from Fox. She has to do what she can do to get attention.’

The singer went on to stated that Kelly had a politically-minded motivation for making her comments.

‘There’s a long long record of this bully going after young people wanting them to take their own lives,’ Kelly pointed out
