People are only just realising that the Dunkin’ app doesn’t work at every store

Dunkin' customers have been left angry after discovering that the chain's rewards and app aren't accepted in every store.

Dunkin' rewards are a popular way for customers to earn towards free food each time they make a qualifying purchase with the chain.

Meanwhile the Dunkin' app allows for customers to pre-order their food and drinks ahead of their visit.

A useful tool for recurring visitors, the app not only allows users to skip the queue but also to amass reward points and pay quicker.

However, users have been left annoyed after discovering that some branches don't accept the app or rewards – including one of the chain's busiest shops.

Several customers have shared their grievances online, with an inability to use the app at Dunkin's Penn Station location in New York City irritating customers.

Complaints about the issue go back several years on social media, with the firm replying to some posts but seemingly not resolving the issue.

“Penn Station really is a wretched hive of scum and villainy… Dunkin’ doesn’t accept the rewards app,” wrote one user.

A second commented: “Why does your Penn Station NYC store promote the Dunkin' app but when I went to pay they say they don’t accept it? That doesn’t make any sense."

A third added: “Please DM us your Perks email and a screenshot of the promotion, so we can look into this for you. Thanks!”

Despite the fact that the user claimed to have DM’d the shop, there was allegedly no response.

Meanwhile a fourth quipped: “NY Penn Station location on Amtrak level closer to 8th Ave refuses to accept Dunkin' Gift cards of the app."
