Ola and James Jordan reveal secret to 19-year marriage as they plan baby two

Ola Jordan and her husband James Jordan have been married for 19 years after the pair found love in Blackpool in 1999.

And speaking to OK!, dad of one James, 44, revealed the secret to their "happy marriage" all comes down to honesty and humour.

He revealed: "Sometimes you might not hear what you want to hear, but it’s better to be honest. We don’t take each other too seriously either. We have a laugh and wind each other up all the time!"

After welcoming their two year old daughter Ella via IVF, Ola, 40, previously revealed how "lucky" she was to fall pregnant "the first time".

Since becoming parents together with Ella, James and Ola are considering trying for another baby, as they tell us that their daughter would love a sibling.

Ola told us: "I’d love to have another baby and Ella would love to have a sibling. Hopefully it will happen.

"But I didn’t want to get pregnant feeling the way I did."

Back in July, James and Ola joined the Loose Women panel as they spoke about previous discussions about having another child.

"I'd love to," Ola shared, before James agreed by adding: "We've obviously tried naturally over the last however long and it's again, not happened so we need to maybe look at going back to IVF.

"We've already had a few conversations."

Ola then said: "We're getting older now so my egg count won't be the same as it was when I was 37."

Ella has had a few health scares over the past year, including a recent ear infection – and James gave an update on how she's doing now.

"So much better, but her hearing still isn’t great," he said. "She had such a bad ear infection."

He continued: "We have to shout at her at the moment. She’s been quite a sickly baby, but I hope it’ll build up her immunity and make her stronger as she gets older."

Last month, James thanked his followers for their supportive messages while Ella has been feeling unwell, revealing she's a "fighter".

He shared on Twitter: "Hi guys – thanks for all of the lovely messages about Ella. She’s still quite poorly but doing better.

"After 1 month of being ill, she now has an ear infection in both ears so been a tough few days. But she’s a Jordan and a fighter!"
