Olivia Attwood reveals she had Botox days before I'm A Celeb entrance

EXCLUSIVE: Olivia Attwood reveals she had Botox days before entering I’m A Celeb jungle as well as having lips tattooed pink and eyebrows tinted – and vows to live in her bikini

Olivia Attwood underwent thousands of pounds worth of beauty treatments before arriving in the I’m A Celeb jungle – and vows to parade around in her bikini.

The former Love Island star, 31, reeled off her extensive list of procedures – more than any other campmate – which include: Botox, eyebrow tint and lamination, plus semi-permanent pink lip makeup.

After finding fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2017, Olivia says she’s more than used to baring her body for the cameras and her stint on I’m A Celeb will be no different, though she admits her footballer fiancé Bradley Dack, 28, has warned her against being in a ‘thong the whole time.’

Speaking in New South Wales, ahead of her jungle debut, Olivia said: ‘So, I did eyebrows, tint and lamination, my lip blush tattooed so it looks like I’ve got a bit of lippy on it’s gone a bit too red in the sun but that’s fine, better than nothing, and I did Botox and a facial and that’s it.

‘I cut three inches off my hair, it’s not short, just to make it a bit more manageable. I cut my nails short and square, which is not my normal go to, and it feels strange but just so I can actually use my hands instead of breaking a nail.

‘I’m hoping this is going to be one of those experiences that make you realise that all those things don’t really matter – but somehow, I don’t think that’s going to be the case.’

Olivia, who got engaged to Bradley in 2019, joked the Blackburn Rovers star is worried about her potentially catching the eye of one of her co-stars, who include Hollyoaks heartthrob Owen Warner.

He’s also concerned about Olivia being ‘too crude’ and exposing her bum on national TV, while she’s made no promises to be conservative.

Olivia said: ‘He told me not to be crude and said no burping or farting and I was like ‘But I’m going to be eating really horrible food’ and he said to just try and be ladylike.

‘He said not to walk around in my thong the whole time. I was like okay; I’ll try but I can’t promise anything.

‘I was on Love Island in a bikini on TV every single day for eight weeks – it’s no big deal to me.’

Olivia is the first ever contestant from Love Island to get the call from the jungle, ending a seven-year ban on former Islanders taking part.

‘It’s a huge compliment’: Olivia is the first ever contestant from Love Island to get the call from the jungle, ending a seven-year ban on former Islanders taking part

After also starring in Celebs Go Dating and TOWIE, the WAG says she feels ’empowered’ to be taking part in the series on her own – and unlike when she’s filmed for previous reality shows, she hopes to avoid all drama.

She said: ‘It’s a huge compliment and I know they weren’t keen on the crossover throughout the years and I know they have met with other Love Islanders before so to be the first one out of 400 odd Love Islanders is a huge compliment and I just hope I do them proud.

‘It feels really empowering that I’m going on this journey alone. Love Island is relationship based so it’s nice to know it’s me and if I f*** it up it’s my own fault!

‘People have seen me on Love Island or TOWIE and there are very argumentative sides of me in those kinds of high pressure, high emotion situations but I can’t see it being an environment where I would care to argue with anyone.

‘Rather than being amongst a load of people that are the same age and background as you there’s going to be such a diverse group of people so yeah, not everyone is going to like each other but who knows if someone wants to test me then I’m probably not the right one but I can’t see myself arguing with anyone right now.’

‘I was a pretty lost person’: Olivia has described the tough place she was in mentally when she joined the Love Island cast over four years ago

Viewers will remember the star having meltdowns, smoking on screen, and exploding at ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes, 29, who she split from as they filmed their spinoff show together.

Today, Olivia admits to being a lot happier, and says she no longer feels the need to ‘scream’ and ‘shout’ in arguments.

She said: ‘Hindsight and growing up is a great thing. The person I was when I went into Love Island… she was very angry, I was a pretty lost person before I entered Love Island, I didn’t know what I was doing with my life, I didn’t like boys, I was scorned by all the horrible ex-boyfriends I had so I took a lot of baggage in there with me, I was hot headed.

‘People say to me it must be so empowering to have that freedom where you can say whatever you want and it’s like as I got older, the empowerment and the freedom I have now… yes, I can say whatever I want but I also don’t feel the need to say half the stuff I used to say.

‘I was doing a lot of screaming and shouting but now I’m in a happier place. I don’t feel the need to drop bombs for the sake of it.’
