Ryan Reynolds pokes fun at pal Taylor Swifts new romance with Matty Healy

Taylor Swift, 33, and Matty Healy, 34, have fueled romance rumours in recent weeks, beginning when the Belong With Me hitmaker performed at a 1975 gig.

Rumours have continued and appeared to be confirmed after the new couple were caught “kissing” on a double date in New York City.

Ryan Reynolds, 46, a close friend of Taylor, couldn’t help poking fun at the blossoming romance, just hours after the relationship was confirmed.

The Hollywood actor shared a picture of himself giving his 49 million Instagram followers and added music by Matty’s band The 1975 over it.

The group’s hit Chocolate played in the background of his selfie, which he captioned: “Zoom zoom.”

Ryan is the husband of Blake Lively, who has been close friends with the Shake It Off singer for over a decade.

Taylor even included the names of the couple’s three daughters James, eight, Inez, six and Betty, three in her 2020 hit Betty.

Blake and Taylor enjoyed a night out shortly after it was revealed that the singer had split from her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn last month.

Taylor is now romantically involved with Matty, with Page Six reporting their romance is confirmed.

An eyewitness told Page Six that Taylor and Matty were seated next to one another in the lounge inside Casa Cipriani, New York and “security was around them”.

The source added that Swift and the 1975 frontman were “cuddling and kissing” as they waited for their food.

They were joined by Taylor’s collaborator Jack Antonoff and his fiancée Margaret Qualley at the celeb hotspot, as captured by a fan on social media.

Matty has been supporting the Fearless singer at recent stops on her Eras tour, which kicked off in March.

He was also pictured last week clapping and gyrating while attending the most recent gig in Taylor’s Eras Tour.

It was first reported last week that Matty and Taylor had planned to debut their romance by bringing him up on stage to perform several songs at her Nashville shows.

Matty did perform during Saturday’s show with Taylor’s opening act but remained in the audience during the Mean singer’s stage time.

Whether he will hop onto the stage once again to perform with Taylor has yet to be seen.
