Rylan Clark reunites with TV parents Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford in fun snaps

Rylan Clark has reunited with his "TV parents" Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford as he paid them a visit on Sunday as Eamonn continues to suffer from chronic pain.

Sharing the fun snaps to Instagram Eamonn, 63, wrote: "Look who called in to see me today. What a surprise !!!Better than medicine u r Rylan my friend . Gosh we laughed and laughed."

While both Rylan, 34, and Ruth, 62, shared a clip of the former Big Brother star, using Eamonn's stairlift, as Ruth joked: "Are you Rylan? Can I have your autograph?"

Speaking to his "TV dad" Rylan then said: "I know you've been through it dad, but you've got an easy life here, honestly, you could rent this out."

Posting the clip to his Instagram page, Rylan penned the caption: "Well someone had to go and check out the tech…. @eamonnholmes . Good to see you on the mend."

Commenting, Eamonn joked: "Welcome to The Fun Palace ! Great night my friend." While The One Show presenter Alex Jones added: "This made me cry laughing!"

Fans were also left in stitches at the clip, with one writing: "Honestly this is just [laughing emojis] Rylan is such a national treasure."

And a second commented: "Soo funny Rylan A great friendship with Eamon and Ruth!!"

Eamonn has been suffering from chronic pain, which has been made worse when, following surgery on his back, he broke his shoulder.

Giving an update on her husband's health on Loose Women, panellist Ruth said: "He was struggling with bulging discs. Then he had a back operation, which you know was always that nerve-wracking moment isn't it?

"And then a few days after that he fell downstairs and broke his shoulder. So it's been a really difficult time, so I took some time off really to be at home and look after him."

While having gone through a particularly tough time of late, Eamonn recently issued fans with a positive update as he announced his return to TV.

Sharing the news with fans on social media, the broadcaster shared a smiling selfie from a TV studio, as he wrote: "Been to my GB News studio today to make sure I can cope with mobility. All good.

"The comeback is on for Monday 9th January ! Hope u can join me.”

After hearing the news, countless fans rushed to wish him well, with many celebrating the return of one of their favourite TV stars.

One fan commented: "So pleased you will be back on our screens doing what you do best."
