Selena Gomez Reacts After Kylie Jenner Denies Shading Her on Instagram Stories

Weighing in on the eyebrows drama, the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress suggests that she has nothing but love for the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alum.

AceShowbiz -There is no bad blood between Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner. The “Only Murders in the Building” star stressed that she’s cool with the Kylie Cosmetics founder after the latter denied claims that she shaded the actress with her Instagram posts.

Shortly after Kylie made the clarification, Selena chimed in the drama. Underneath a TikTok post, the former Disney star showed love for Kylie, who also left a comment in the video. “Agreed @kyliejenner It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!” so Selena said on Wednesday, February 22.

Selena’s post arrived after Kylie set the record straight amid claims that she mocked Selena’s eyebrows on her Instagram Stories. “this is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and i didn’t see her eyebrow posts!” “The Kardashians” star said, “u guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”

The drama started after the TikToker pointed out that Kylie appeared to ridicule Selena’s eyebrows after the latter shared a video in which she said that she “accidentally laminated [her] eyebrows too much.” Just 3 hours later, Kylie posted a selfie of herself and wrote, “this was an accident??”

Kylie additionally made fans further think that she’s shading Selena with her next post. The makeup mogul shared what seemed to be a screenshot of her Facetime call with Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin) and the pic suspiciously zoomed in on their eyebrows.

Fans also suggested that Kylie was upset with Selena after the latter officially dethroned her as the most followed woman on Instagram. As of Wednesday night at 6:25 P.M. EST, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer led with 380,644,778 followers, while the reality TV star was close behind with 380,425,729 followers.

Prior to this, Selena revealed why she removed social medias on her phone except for TikTok. “People can call me ugly or stupid and I’m like, Whatever. But these people get detailed,” she explained in an interview with Vanity Fair. “They write paragraphs that are so specific and mean. I would constantly be crying. I constantly had anxiety…I couldn’t do it anymore. It was a waste of my time.”

“The only thing I have on my phone is TikTok because I find it to be a little less hostile,” she said. “There are wonderful things about social media-connecting with fans, seeing how happy and excited they are and their stories. But usually that’s filtered through [for me now]. I created a system. Everything I do I send to my assistant who posts them. As far as comments, my team will put together a few things that are encouraging.”
