Interestingly, a fan notes that Marianne Fonseca used to be friends with the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress, who was rumored to be dating the musician earlier this year.

AceShowbiz –Andrew Taggart a.k.a. Drew Taggart seemingly has found a new love. Some new pictures that circulated online saw the one half of The Chainsmokers in an outing with model Marianne Fonseca, who is also Hailey Bieber’s (Hailey Baldwin) BFF.

The pictures saw the alleged couple holding hands while strolling in New York. The “Paris” singer, who used to date Selena Gomez, opted for a black jacket and washed-denim pants for the date night. As for Marianne, the catwalk star went all-black as she donned a black one-shoulder top, a mini skirt featuring a high slit, a long knit jacket and leather boots.

After the snaps hit the web, fans had mixed responses to them. “Wait what the f**k,” a shocked fan wrote in an Instagram comment. A fan, meanwhile, mentioned Selena by saying, “Drew can’t be single for a month. He should have waited for Selena, his loss.” Someone else pointed out, “He went from Selena to Hailey’s bff).[sic]”

Another Selenator, on the other hand, shared why the former couple didn’t work out. “Selena & Drew would never work. They both have work commitments that make it nearly impossible for them to see each other & see where their relationship could go,” the person said.

Interestingly, a Twitter user noted that Marianne used to be friends with Selena. The person attached a screenshot of the “Only Murders in the Building” star’s Instagram post back in 2014.

In the said post, the former Disney star posted a picture of a couple kissing while writing in the comments, “She said…. YES. @marrianefonseca and @jesymckinney congratulations!!! I’m geeking out because it’s my first actually best friend couple getting engaged. Ahhhh [shy face and heart emojis].”

Meanwhile, Drew and Selena were rumored to be dating in January when they were snapped holding hands during a date night. At the time, it was said that the pair “are dating and things are still new.” The source also said the two “met through mutual friends in a friendly, low-key way, but had an instant connection and liked each other as people.”

“Selena and Drew are having a lot of fun together,” another source added. “Drew is really happy around Selena, and Selena is into Drew too. They have connected over their love of music, being in the same industry, and their strong work ethic. Drew appreciates that Selena understands his life. Things are going well between them.”

Things apparently didn’t work out for them as Selena has been rumored to be dating Zayn Malik.
