Sinead O’Connor’s final posts before death as she struggled to get over son

Sinead O’Connor shares tribute as her teenage son Shane dies

Earlier this month, Sinead O’Connor spoke out about her grief after losing her son Shane last year.

In her final Twitter post before her death this week aged 56, she told fans she had been “living like an undead night creature” ever since he passed.

She added that her son was the “love” of her life and “the only person who ever loved me unconditionally”.

The singer went on to say she felt “lost” without him.

Sinead shared the tweet on July 17, in response to a post which read: “Tell me how your life is going with emojis.”

She accompanied her post with multiple crying face emojis and a picture of her and son Shane cuddling and smiling.

Following the news of his death, the singer cancelled all of her 2022 gigs.

The Nothing Compares 2 U singer died this week, according to The Irish Times on Wednesday.

Her cause of death is currently unknown.

Sinead is survived by her three remaining children, Jake, Brigidine and Yeshua.
