Sleep-deprived Molly Mae Hague shares adorable smiling snap of Bambi

Molly-Mae Hague has treated fans to an adorable new picture of Bambi while revealing that she hasn’t slept for “nearly 3 weeks.”

The former Love Island star, who was featured on the show in 2019 with Amber Gill, Greg O'Shea, and Curtis Pritchard, gave birth on January 23 and soon revealed the momentous news to her followers on January 30.

Since the birth, Molly-Mae has detailed her mummy journey alongside her partner, Tommy Fury, who cried so much during his daughter’s birth.

On Sunday, the new mum took to Instagram once more to share some new pictures of Bambi with her 7.1 million followers.

The first picture showed Bambi, whose name was teased in an earlier YouTube video, lying on the bed in a white ensemble and a grin on her face.

“When you’ve not let your mum sleep for nearly 3 weeks but know you’re cute so will get away with it,” she captioned the first picture, before adding on the second, “My heart breaks every time I look at her.”

In the second snap, which is visibly less smiley than the prior one, Bambi was sleeping.

While the birth and the response have been mostly positive, the Pretty Little Thing creative director was forced to turn off her comments for a time because of trolls who slammed her chosen name.

In a YouTube video, she explained: "I think I was just brought back to planet earth very very quickly of how nasty this world can be.

"And I think because we had literally always had known that our first baby girl was going to be called Bambi, we had gotten so used to the idea of that being her name and to us, it wasn't really that unusual anymore.

"I know it is definitely unusual and unique and not going to be of everyone's taste, so when we announced it, in my mind I was just like 'it's beautiful, it's just her. She's Bambi and that's just this beautiful name, and it's amazing. And then two seconds after posting it, I was like 'oh my god'."

Former Big Brother housemate Kerry Katona poked fun at the name in her exclusive column, where she wrote: "I think Bambi Fury sounds a bit ridiculous. It reminds me of the Disney film where the mother gets shot! The poor kid might get some stick in school."

"If they haven’t registered the name yet, maybe they should consider changing it. But each to their own…"

But after having a change of heart, Kerry took to Instagram and wrote: "So I just want to say a massive apology to Molly-Mae because I saw my column the other day and I think I'm dead funny but I'm actually not always that funny."
