Stacey Solomon shares hopes for Pickle Cottage home birth with fifth child

Stacey Solomon has shared her hopes of having a home birth at Pickle Cottage with her fifth child, after welcoming her daughter Rose at home in 2021.

The Loose Women panellist, 33, revealed she's expecting her third baby with husband Joe Swash, 40, at the end of 2022, after keeping her pregnancy under wraps for eight months.

Stacey, who is already mum to Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships, as well as Rex, three, and one year old Rose with Joe, recently took part in a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories where fans were quick to quiz her about her fifth child.

"Will you be having another amazing homebirth," one fan asked with a lovestruck emoji.

Mum-of-four Stacey shared a snap of her blossoming baby bump as she relaxed at home, and replied: "I would LOVE to have another home birth. I honestly loved giving birth to Rose at home," with a teary-eyed emoji.

Plans for her second home birth at Pickle Cottage are already in motion, as she went on to reveal that she's having a home assessment soon.

"I have a home birth assessment coming up so hopefully all is ok and I can give it a go at home again," she explained.

During the same Q&A session, Stacey also opened up about keeping her pregnancy a secret and how she found out she was expecting again.

The 33 year old revealed that she and Joe actually "missed the beginning bit" as she'd found out later than usual.

"My periods were irregular from breastfeeding, we were planning a wedding then getting married & then just crazy busy life & it honestly didn't even register," she explained to her followers.

Stacey then clarified that her and Joe did find out months ago, but had wanted to enjoy the time to themselves before making their news public.

Stacey is due to give birth next month and is currently in the process of picking out a name with husband Joe for their new bundle of joy.

The pair are yet to pick any out and both like different styles of names, Stacey recently explained to her fans, before going on to admit she hadn't started preparing a nursery for her new baby at Pickle Cottage.
