And the movie unpacks eerie details, and a grotesque and tragic backstory.
A premise for the movie reads: ‘A rookie cop takes the last shift at a decommissioned police station where members of a cult committed suicide years prior.
‘When she begins experiencing paranormal occurrences throughout the night, she begins to uncover the truth about the cult and its connection to her family’s past.’
Those that have dared to turn it on have warned it is not for the faint-hearted.
They shared their thoughts on the spine-chilling flick on Twitter, with one person writing: ‘It’s a great movie. I watched Malum last night and I was s*****n myself. I know you like a good horror, so give this a chance, if you haven’t already.’

And another also chimed in saying: ‘We watched Malum last night. It was entertaining and had some powerful scenes but I still prefer the first movie by far, The last shift.’
