Kieran, who made it to the final five on the show, told MailOnline: ‘Those two videos are from seven years ago. I was trying out a new lip sync app that was really popular at the time and was supposed to be fun. The thing is, it’s not funny.

‘It is absolutely not acceptable. It certainly doesn’t represent who I am. I am a family man, I teach my children good values and I want to set an example to them.

‘I am working hard to get these videos taken down which are on a historic and inactive account, that is currently inaccessible. I feel very strongly that they are entirely unacceptable.

‘I apologise unreservedly for any offence caused.’

In one clip, titled Kieran the retard, a voiceover could be heard saying the words: ‘You’re all beautiful, stay strong everybody’, while Kieran pulls a face and fixes his mouth to the side of his face.

He then says: ‘I’m retarded, you talking about me?’

Another video titled: ‘winding up my wife! S**t singing lessons’ sees him ask his wife: ‘Right, are you going to join in with me for Chinese singing today, babe?’

As she responds to him, she shouts ‘no, you d**khead!’ before going on to sing in a mock Chinese accent.’

Kieran is seen reclining on a chair as he continues to sing, before turning to his wife, telling her: ‘your turn!’

After encouraging his wife to sing in the same way as him, she’s then heard doing her own version of the mock accent.

‘That’s not the line is it babe? If you’re gonna learn Chinese, you’re gonna learn it properly!

He then continues his made-up song, before urging his wife once again, shouting: ‘Do it!’ to which she then complies.

Pleased with his wife’s efforts, he said: ‘better’ as the video ends.

It was a close call for the three winners after Wilfred Webster almost made it before being caught out as he and fellow traitor Kieran turned on one another.

Kieran was first to be voted out by the other four contestants in the final, but left with a cryptic ‘parting gift’ as he revealed to the others that he thought Wilf was a traitor.
