Vanessa Feltz ex Ben breaks silence and admits he did cheat and also sexted fans

Ben Ofoedu has spoken out for the first time since his split from Vanessa Feltz, and admitted to both physical and emotional affairs with three different women.

The pair met in 2005 and Ben popped the question to the radio and TV star just a year later.

While Vanessa said yes to his proposal, the pair never made it down the aisle as their relationship came to an end in recent weeks.

Vanessa, 60, has addressed their break-up on a handful of occasions, but Ben has only done so by posting a broken heart emoji to his Instagram Story.

But now Ben, 50, has addressed the matter properly amid reports he was unfaithful to his wife-to-be.

Speaking to the Mirror, Ben shared: "I was wrong… I betrayed the love of my life."

Ben spoke about cheating with an older woman in Ibiza while touring with band Phats and Small in 2015, and admitted to having sex with her three times.

Ben claims Vanessa forgave him after he briefly moved out, but ended for good when she discovered he'd also been sexting one woman and flirting with another – both in 2022. Ben describes it as a tough year after coping with his brother Roy's ill heath, which lead to his death. Ben turned to alcohol.

He said: “I’ve broken her trust. She gave me another chance. I’ve gone and destroyed that.”

Ben admitted that his actions have "hurt" many people, including Vanessa's daughters Allegra, 37 and Saskia, 34, and their families as well as his own.

“My last conversation with Vanessa was me saying how wonderful she was, how she was the love of my life and saying how much I loved her and that I’m so, so sorry it’s happened. ‘Please find it in your heart to forgive me’," Ben told the publication.

Ben soon found his phone and social media blocked, and his daily emails have been left unanswered.

OK! have reached out to Vanessa's management for comment.

Vanessa described herself as feeling “humiliated” in the wake of their split.

The This Morning favourite, who said being heartbroken is "horrible", admitted on the popular daytime TV show earlier this week: "People have been amazing, absolutely amazing, and of course it helps a lot as I can't sleep at all so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the middle of the night.

"I'm really finding my real friends, my real family, people I don't know."

She went on to add: “I've said I feel sad, I feel hurt, which I do, and I said I feel terribly humiliated, which lots of people have said you shouldn't.

"I think that's quite helpful, to believe in your own relationship isn't stupid."

Vanessa also hinted at Ben’s alleged infidelity when she said that you can’t regain trust once it’s been broken.

"Well I haven't been on Instagram for three weeks and that's because my relationship with Ben is over after 16 years," she began.

"I honestly didn't know what to say on Instagram but now it's clear that it's over and I really do feel that once the trust in a relationship is gone, you can't really get it back.”

Ben and Vanessa’s break-up comes after she shared in an exclusive chat with OK! last year that she was “reluctant” to marry for a second time.

Vanessa was previously married to Michael Kurur, whom she divorced in 2000.
