Keep holding on.

Mod Sun admitted he feels “broken” after Avril Lavigne blindsided him by calling off their engagement.

“In 1 week my entire life completely changed,” the rapper, whose real name is Derek Ryan Smith, wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken 💔.”

Mod Sun then thanked his loved ones and fans for supporting him as he navigates his heartbreak while on the road.

“Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing,” he wrote. “I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.”

Thousands of fans flooded the Instagram post, which included a selfie of the “Down” performer as well as photos from his tour, with words of encouragement after his breakup.

“You’re so loved, don’t forget that ok? 🌟✨keep your head up, you’ve accomplished so much !!!!! Sending you all my positive energy,” one person wrote.

“You deserve happiness my friend, the right one will find you❤️,” another commented.

“We’re all here for you my friend! Just like your music will always be there for us!” a third follower added.

Mod Sun broke his silence on the split exactly one week after Lavigne’s reps confirmed to Page Six that the former couple’s engagement was over.

The “Karma” singer’s rep told us shortly after, “They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed, that’s news to him.”

Despite his bump in the road, the rep assured ticketholders that Mod Sun would press on with his tour.

“The show will happen tonight and tomorrow and for the rest of the tour,” his rep shared.

The duo’s relationship has been on the rocks for several months, according to TMZ, and they had even broken up and gotten back together before calling things off completely.

However, sources told the outlet that the breakup was not caused by cheating.

The news broke less than two days after the “Complicated” singer, 38, sparked rumors that she was dating Tyga, with whom she was spotted outside Nobu in Malibu, Calif.

Photos taken on Feb. 19 showed Lavigne hugging the “Rack City” rapper, 33, as they left the restaurant.

Mod Sun and Lavigne got engaged in Paris in March 2022 after dating for more than a year.

“Yes! I love you forever 💍🥂,” she captioned photos from the proposal. Mod Sun added in the comments section, “love u so much! Forever n ever my angel.”

Perhaps not “forever n ever” after all.
