Desperate To Sell, Jennifer Lopez Reduces Asking Price On Mega Mansion

Jennifer Lopez is apparently getting anxious to sell her mega mansion, as she’s reduced the asking price by $2.5 million. The singer originally put the property on the market in February for $42.5 million. But it hasn’t had any takers in the months since. As such, the asking price has been reduced to $40 million.

With nearly 14,000 square feet of living space, including 7 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, the property isn’t lacking in impressive features. It includes a guest cottage, outdoor pool, a golf course, and an amphitheatre that can seat 100 people. Even more, the property backs onto a private lake and beach.

J.Lo originally bought the property in 2016 for $28 million, which was a steal at the time since the property was originally listed for $39 million.

It’s speculated that Jennifer’s decision to sell is motivated by the fact that she recently bought a property with her husband Ben Affleck. The couple bought a Bel-Air mansion for $65 million earlier this year after months of house hunting. Ben and Jen’s new pad sits on 1.1 acres of land and features 10 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, and 4 kitchens.

Like his wife, Ben is also trying to offload once of his properties. In December, he put his Pacific Palisades mansion up for sale for $30 million. He originally bought the property for $19 million following his divorce from Jennifer Garner.

Even once they sell their two properties that are currently on the market, Ben and Jen will still have an array of estates. This includes the Georgia compound where the couple celebrated their wedding last year.

Ben originally bought the Georgia estate in 2003 for $7.5 million. It features 87-acres of land, which includes over 13,000 square feet of living space. Some of the main estate’s features include a movie theatre, recreation room, and a walk-in wine cellar.

These aren’t the only big moves that Jenifer has been making recently. Earlier this month, the actress launched her own alcohol brand, though it wasn’t an entirely positive response.

Sharing to Instagram, J.Lo unveiled Delola, a new line of three ready-made cocktail mixes. However, many of the comments expressed surprise Jen chose to come out with an alcohol line, considering she’s said in the past she doesn’t drink and that her husband has openly admitted to having struggles with alcohol. So far, J.Lo hasn’t responded to the backlash.
