‘I May Destroy You’ & ‘The Serpent Queen’ Casting Duo Form Harkin & Toth Casting

EXCLUSIVE: Emmy-nominated casting director Julie Harkin has partnered with casting director Nathan Toth to form Harkin & Toth Casting.

The pair (pictured below) have worked together since 2017, having collaborated on projects including I May Destroy You (BBC/HBO), The Serpent Queen (Starz/Lionsgate), War of the Worlds (Fox/Disney+) and Half Bad: The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself (Netflix).

Their upcoming projects as co-casting directors include J Blakeson’s heist thriller Culprits (Disney+), Criminal Record (Apple TV+) starring Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, true-crime drama The Sixth Commandment (BBC) starring Timothy Spall and Anne Reid, and limited series Gentleman In Moscow (Showtime/Paramount+) starring Ewan McGregor, based on the hit novel of the same name.

Respected vet Harkin is known for TV work including Industry, Fortitude, MotherFatherSon, War & Peace, This Is England ’90, Misfits and Vera, and feature credits such as My Policeman, Military Wives, Beast and The Woman In Black 2. Upcoming movies include Toxic Avenger, Heart Of Stone, Tuesday and Kung Fury 2.
