Kim Kardashian shows off even more Christmas trees in her house as she wakes up kids to holiday music
Kim Kardashian offered her Instagram followers an inside look at her Christmas decorations as she resumed her yearly tradition of having a pianist wake up her kids to the sound of festive music.
On Thursday, the 42-year-old reality TV star, who recently showed off her huge collection of Christmas trees at 'all grey' mansion, gave fans a tour of her Calabasas home via her Instagram stories.
The SKIMS founder also filmed Grammy-winning pianist Philip Cornish playing the festive tunes at an all-white grand piano.
In a caption to her 334 million followers she wrote: "It's that time of year… @philthekeys comes over every morning to wake my kids up by playing the piano while the mad morning rush is happening to calm their little souls and fill it with beautiful Christmas song."
Many social media users criticised Kardashian's move as being "out of touch," however she claims the second-annual tradition helps her kids "calm down" before school.
In the background of the clips, viewers get a peek into her neutral-toned home with impressive high ceilings and tall glass windows. Next to the sprawling couch pit stood a gigantic christmas tree adorned with white sparkling lights.
After filing for divorce from Kanye West in 2021, Kim now lives in the home with her four kids — North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three, who can be heard shouting excitedly in the background of the clips as Phil played We Wish You A Merry Christmas. A different video showed the reality star's youngest son cuddled up on the couch listening to the music.
Earlier this week Kim showed off the nine Christmas trees on the balcony outside her large en suite bathroom, gushing: “this makes me so happy.”
“In my bathroom I always have plants [outside], and there's like a whole balcony and you can go through my shower out there, but right now this is all I see and it's so beautiful,” she added.
Over the snippet she wrote, “I'm going to post this every night because it looks so magical. Thank you so much @jeffleatham.”
The mogul and her ex-husband reached a divorce settlement earlier this week, despite being publicly broken up for almost two years. They came to an agreement on parenting plans, child custody arrangements, and the partition of their multi-million dollar real estate portfolio.
Kardashian was given a child support award of $200,000 per month but will not be receiving spousal support.
