Love Islands Jessies unknown friendship with Strictlys Diane Buswell revealed

It looks like Love Island's Jessie Wynter already boasts some celebrity pals, with her secret friendship with Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell recently being unveiled.

Jessie, 26, recently jetted to the UK with beau Will Young, 22, following the end of the ITV2 dating show, and after sharing an update with fans online, her pal Dianne, 33, reached out to her on Instagram.

It's unknown whether the pair have known each other for long, but it could be that they formed a friendship due to both living in Australia. Dianne hails from Bunbury while Jessie is originally from Tasmania but resides in Sydney.

The Strictly Come Dancing professional was quick to comment on Jessie's loved-up post with farmer Will on Instagram, and even said she needs to "catch up" with the Love Island star.

"So happy for you babe !!! Your a uk chick now !!!!! We must catch up !!!!" Dianne enthusiastically commented.

Jessie, who found fame on Love Island Australia, then sweetly replied: "Thanks chick! Yess, well overdue," with a red heart emoji.

Jessie and Will shared the adorable joint Instagram post after jetting to the UK from South Africa together following the end of the winter 2023 series of Love Island.

The couple, who fell for one another in the villa and went on to make things official, headed to London together before venturing to Will's family's farm in Buckinghamshire, where Jessie got to meet his family.

One photo showed the pair beaming outside Buckingham Palace in London while a second snap showed them kissing on the farm.

Will and Jessie wrote: "To the Villa, to London, to the FARM. What a crazy, wonderful and life lasting journey this has been. We made friends for life, met each other and more importantly have fallen in love.

"We are so happy that we got this opportunity as without it we may have never met, We just want to thank all of you for the love and support we have gotten, we really couldn’t have done it without you. Love you all Will & Jessie."

Fellow ex-islander Claudia Fogarty commented: "They’re back [heart-eyes emoji]" while Casey O'Gorman joked: "Lambing season pending."

Fans of the couple were also quick to comment on the sweet snaps, with one writing: "The best couple. I refused to watch the final after you guys left."

"Robbed of the final [crying emoji] my winners from day 1," added another, while a third wrote: "Definitely should of been the winning couple, just love you both."
