MAFS UK bride Jenna’s wholesome Blackpool life including zero-waste business

Married At First SightUK is set to be a real treat for viewers this season with a new group of singletons and 30 episodes bringing all the drama and surprises.

Among this year’s contestants is Jenna Robison who, in an E4 first, is part of a lesbian couple getting hitched on the programme this year.

Jenna, 32, has been given help by the relationship experts Melanie Schilling, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas in the hope that she is able to form a long-lasting connection.

Outside of the reality show, Blackpool-based Jenna has a very exciting life with a unique business.

Jenna describes herself as “the gay vegan one” and is a huge advocate for saving the planet.

She currently owns a business called un-do which is described as an “eco store”.

She says it’s “Blackpools #1 and only Zero Waste Eco-store” and the purpose of the business is for “sustainable swaps for a better future”.

The company’s website reads: “Welcome to un-do! Shop a wide range of eco-friendly products from general household items to personal care and the best sustainable swaps around!

“And believe us when we say once you swap you can't stop!”

Jenna is also a huge tattoo enthusiast and sports many inkings across her body including a quirky one dedicated to Blue Peter.

Ahead of her episode airing, she took to Instagram to answer fan questions including one which said: “How does it feel to be the first lesbian couple [on the show]?”

Jenna replied: “Amazing and scary all in one.

“Hopefully we do the queer community proud, but also don’t count on it.”

She said she appeared on the show as she’s always hated the traditional concept of marriage and never envisaged herself walking down the aisle and tying the knot.

However, the small business owner from Blackpool decided she wants to find love, commit to someone and build a long life together so applied to E4 for help.

Jenna revealed that she's put her trust into the MAFS experts as she doesn't like dating apps and doesn't go out anywhere in order to meet someone, so she sees the show as the "only way" she can hopefully find someone.

Commenting on the show’s representation of the LGBTQ community this year, Channel 4 Factual Entertainment Commissioning Editor, Lee McMurray said: “I am delighted to be making MAFS history by featuring two same-sex couples in a show that is committed to and celebrates diversity.

"They are part of fantastic new cast whom I’m sure viewers will fall in love with.”
