Odeon previously said in a statement: “We can confirm that, following a thorough assessment of all available options we have made the very difficult decision to close a small number of our cinemas.
"We know this will be disappointing news for our guests and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"We would like to thank them for their choosing Odeon to enjoy the magic of cinema.
"Looking after our people is our number one priority and we are looking to secure jobs for as many team members as possible in one of our 116 other cinemas across the UK and Ireland.”

Tickets cost roughly £12.50 online, but that largely depends on where you live and whether you book them online or in person.
The movie chain recommends customers to always book online first to save the most money.
Recently Cineworld has been struggling too after it gave a huge update on its plan to exit bankruptcy.
The chain said expects to come out of bankruptcy protection in July after receiving backing from lenders.
The company stressed it is continuing to run its venues "as usual without interruption".
Retailers such as B&M, Iceland, Lidl and New Look have all been shutting branches recently and shoppers should check local websites to make sure they're not affected.
However, bear in mind some stores will be replaced with brand new shops while others will disappear forever.
For example Lidl, which has 950 sites, is closing or relocating a number of its supermarkets this month.
Its shops on Sturry Road, Canterbury, and Forton Road in Gosport both closed at the end of May.
They're closed due to the poor condition of the building and bosses deeming them unfit for purpose.
