McDonald's is adding a new item to menus tomorrow – and fans can't wait | The Sun

MCDONALD'S is adding a familiar favourite to its menu from tomorrow and fans cannot wait.

The fast food giant made the announcement a few weeks ago that it is bringing back Nacho Cheese Wedges.

It comes as there was a reshuffle of the UK menu which saw some items added and others taken away last week.

The wedges release was delayed for a week much to the disappointment of many.

They cost £2.29 for a portion of five, which is 213 kcal, or £5.99 for a sharebox, which is 639 kcal.

Each wedge is filled with melted nacho cheese and spicy Jalapeno slices, covered in a crunchy coating and they are served with Maccies sour cream and chive dip.

McDonald’s adds five new items to menus from today – including mini waffles

Fans of the cheesy bites have been sharing their excitement for the item on TikTok as they return for the first time since last year.

Since the news broke there have been several videos posted alerting users.

A McDonald's employee was among those sharing the new additions to the menu set to land last week.

One Maccies fan commented: "NACHO CHEESE WEDGE SUPREMACYYYYY I wish they’d put these on the menu permanently."

Another was sad to find the wedges were delayed: "DELAYED NACHOS WEDGES NO I want them so bad."

One user simply said: "Nacho wedges yum."

It comes as mini potato waffles were added to the breakfast menu for the first time ever last Wednesday.

Also making a comeback was the BBQ Bacon Stack which was axed from the menu in July last year.

To make way for its return, McDonald's removed the Big Tasty burger.

All Chicken Legends were also axed from the menu.

McDonald's announced that the McCrispy burger will also become a permanent addition to its menu.

For those with a sweet tooth, a brand new Twirl McFlurry also hit restaurants.

All you fast food fans will have to be quick as the new items – apart from the McCrispy – will only be on the menu for the next six weeks.
