Meet Strictly’s Oti and Motsi Mabuse’s husbands who are not in the spotlight

Oti and Motsi Mabuse have became regulars on our screens over recent years, with the sisters both going on carve out impressive careers in TV.

Motsi, 41, is best known for being a judge on Strictly Come Dancing while Oti, 32, was previously a professional dancer on the BBC One show and is now a judge on Dancing on Ice.

The sisters are now appearing on ITV's DNA Journey together, with their moving episode seeing them head to South Africa to find out more about their family connections.

While Oti and Motsi are used to life in the spotlight, the pair both keep their marriages very private and are rarely seen with their husbands. Here we take a look into their lives away from the cameras…

Ex-Strictly star Oti is married to Romanian dancer Marius Lepure, who she met back in 2014 during a dancing trial in Germany.

The couple then married later that same year and in 2015, they relocated to London from Germany together.

Oti occasionally shares photos of her husband on social media, with the couple regularly jetting off on lavish holidays and enjoying fun days out together.

Oti previously talked about the future with Marius and told OK!: “We’re not looking for babies right now but eventually, once I’ve settled and we have everything that we want, we’ll definitely have them.

“My sister just had a baby and I can see it doesn’t hold you back. If anything, it’s opened up a new world for her.”

Meanwhile Oti's older sister Motsi is married to her dance partner, Evgenij Voznyuk. The pair went public with their relationship in 2015 following Motsi's divorce from first husband Timo Kulczak in 2014.

Motsi and Evgenij had a low-key wedding before celebrating with their loved ones at a party in Mallorca in 2017.

In 2018, Motsi gave birth to the couple's first child, a daughter whose name has not been publicly revealed. The family live in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Strictly judge and her husband run a dance school together in Germany, where Motsi has been based for over 20 years.

Motsi and Oti will star in DNA Journey together, with the new series set to begin on Tuesday 28 March on ITV1.

The sisters, who grew up in South Africa, struggled to fill in their family tree themselves due to poor records kept for Black people during the Apartheid years. But they make a string of amazing discoveries on ITV1’s DNA Journey.
