There is an urgent search for the National Lottery winner as their fortune – which would total  £3.6 million – sits unclaimed since yesterday.

The winning numbers were 01, 13, 17, 37, 44 and the bonus Life Ball was 04.

Camelot's Senior winners' adviser Andy Carter said: "Wow, we have a top prize winner on Set For Life – they can now celebrate winning £10,000 every month for 30 years.

"Players are being urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim tonight's fantastic Set For Life top prize."

On Monday, 37 people also matched four numbers and the Life Ball which meant they received £250 each.
