Strictly’s Jowita Przystal’s boyfriend: Professional dancer’s romance with Michael Danilczuk

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing will know Jowita Przystal as one of the professional dancers on the show, but not much is really known about the 28 year old’s life outside of dancing.

While she’s got a solid Instagram following and has some pretty impressive credits to her name, she’s also had some amazing experiences during her career as a dancer.

In terms of Strictly, she landed the dream role after auditioning alongside her real-life partner and dance partner, Michael Daniczuk, but what else do we know about him?

Who is Jowita Przystal's boyfriend Michael Danilczuck?

Apparently, Michael’s passion for dance started when he was seven years old, and it wasn’t long until he started showing signs of true potential.

After taking Latin and ballroom dance classes, Danilczuck won the Junior Polish Championships when he was just 14.

It’s also known that just like Jowita's, his biggest dream was to join the cast of Strictly Come Dancing as a professional dancer.

In 2020, both he and Jowita catapulted to success in the UK, after they won series two of the BBC show the Greatest Dancer. The two were coached by Oti Mabuse, a professional dancer who has also appeared on Strictly.

At present, it’s not known whether the couple are married or share any children together.

When and how did Michael Danilczuck and Jowita Przystal meet?

Jowita and Michael first met back in 2013, and according to their official website, it was at a dance summer camp in Krakow, Poland.

However, while the pair are now inseparable, they revealed that they didn’t actually take to each other at first.

"Initially, they didn't like each other, but after one year of partnership, they fell in love,” their website reads.

Since then, the pair have enjoyed plenty of success professionally – not just recently with The Greatest Dancer and Strictly.

From winning the Polish Open Latin Championship together, to joining the Burn the Floor dance company, they’ve travelled the world performing.

This includes Broadway credits, including Rock Of Ages, Legally Blonde and Priscilla Queen Of The Desert and Rock Of Ages.

Then, after four years of touring, they decided to make the move to London. Cue The Greatest Dancer and where they are today…

But while Jowita was the only one who landed the Strictly spot, despite them auditioning together, it seems there’s no hard feelings from Michael’s perspective.
