A glamorous mum who has more tattoos than she can count shared unrecognisable throwback photos showing how she looked without ink.

Nicole Howard, 33, cringed at the pictures that were taken during a time when she dyed her hair black.

She is a natural ginger, something she was bullied for at school by cruel students who stole her dinner money, called her nasty names and pulled her locks.

But the Bolton babe got the last laugh and is now a social media star with a quarter of a million followers.

Tattoos helped her regain her confidence – but she bravely shared snaps with Daily Star from when she wasn’t so self-assured.

She laughed: “I will send you the photos directly because you wouldn't ever find them on Instagram.

“When I look at the photos before my tattoos I just think 'oh god ew'.

“I think ‘is that actually me’ … it’s mad because at the time you think you look good but when you look back you think ‘oh god no I hate it’.”

The TikToker is now a full time carer for her disabled daughter and she said the process of getting tattooed helps her cope with negative or stressful emotions.

She had her first tattoo done aged 18 and has been getting them done frequently over the past 15 years.

Nicole has them from the face down – and chooses her body art mostly for aesthetic purposes as opposed to sentimental ones.

Explaining why, she said: “As daft as it sounds, none of them are meaningful apart from my children’s names and dates of birth. It’s just a case of I’ve seen them, I liked them, so I got them.

“And oh god I couldn’t tell you the number I have now. I have two sleeves and I have them everywhere including my neck, chest and legs.”

In part one of our interview with Nicole, she opened up about the suffering she endured as a schoolgirl.

But she said her confidence is “sky high” since becoming a walking canvas and the bullies who once made her life hell are now suddenly eager to please.

She said: “The lads who bullied me now try it on with me and the girls who bullied me back then are now basically up my ar*e. It’s mad.

“I have had people come up to me and say ‘I’m really sorry about how we treated you, you didn’t deserve any of it and we should have stood up for you more’.

“People are now interested in my look and people tend to follow me more for my tattoos and hair now and if I didn’t have all this I don’t feel like that many people would be interested.

“I wouldn’t have expected me to go the way I have.

“It still shocks me every day because I have quite a large following on TikTok and Instagram and thinking back to that girl who was bullied throughout high school I am still shocked at how I am where I am now.”
