3 Elvis Presley’s 1956 Lincoln Continental – Price: $295,000
The 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II is one of the final hand-built American automobiles. Only 3,012 were constructed between 1956 and 1957. The King purchased the car in Miami on August 4, 1956, and it rapidly became one of his favorites. He even drove it to New Orleans for the production of “King Creole.” Initially shown at the Paris Auto Show in 1955, the vehicle was equipped with every available luxury car feature at the time. In 1999, the white vehicle was sold at a charity auction in Guernsey to an unidentified buyer.
2 Elvis Presley’s Peacock Jumpsuit – $300,000
Elvis Presley really favored the Peacock Jumpsuit. And with good cause! The opulent outfit was worn by the King at a concert in 1974, and it was displayed during the press preview ‘A Rock & Roll History: Presley To Punk’ on June 20, 2014, at Sotheby’s New York. The ‘King’ Of Rock And Roll believed the peacock brought him good luck, therefore he wore the jumpsuit occasionally during the month of October 1974. He eventually gave it to Paul Lichte, the former music producer, and director.
1 Elvis Presley’s Jet – $600,000
The most costly item on this list of the ten most expensive items is a 1962 Lockheed Jetstar JT 12-5, the last jet owned by Elvis Presley. Three jets were owned by the King of Rock and Roll throughout his lifetime. This one was sold by Kruse International in 2008, but the other two are on display at the Graceland Museum. The jet is one of just 204 aircraft constructed between 1957 and 1978 by Lockheed and Jetstar as part of a private project.
