TikToker @hannahs.herbs suggested wrapping copper wire around some sticks before shoving them in your soil as it ‘vitalises’ it

The copper wire can be purchased inexpensively at any home, gardening or DIY store

She explained that the tip works due to electroculture – which involves using electricity to stimulate plant growth.

The green-fingered content creator explained to her 25,000 followers that she found the sticks in her garden for free.

And the copper wire can be purchased inexpensively at any home, gardening or DIY store.

In the TikTok video, she explained: ‘So I walked around my yard and collected sticks and then I wrapped them in copper wire which is really cheap.

‘I think it’s 55c a foot for copper wire.

‘And the reason I do this, it’s called electroculture and it basically collects electricity naturally from the atmosphere, and it vitalises your soil in your garden so that your growth rates will be increased by 100 to 300 per cent.

‘All you literally do, you just take some sticks, you wrap them in copper, and you shove them in the soil. That is it.’

The TikToker then showed how she did it, as she panned over to a section of her garden where she had the sticks popping out of.

One green-fingered TikToker said they tried out he hack last year, and wrote: ‘My tomatoes and cucumbers were amazing and produced a lot’

‘Best case scenario, you get way more out of your garden.’
