A body positive TikToker is taking on her haters with defiant videos of her singing and dancing in the bikinis they tell her she shouldn’t be wearing.
Kari Kemp, 34, uses her platform to promote confidence among plus size people, and shares fashion and makeup tips with her 620,000 followers.
Fashion lover Kari, who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, shares clips of her wearing glam looks, as well as product reviews and fashion advice for people of all sizes.
In many of her videos, the creator shares positive messages to hit back at negative commenters who try to drag her down.

In one clip, she expertly brushes off a troll who replied ‘don’t, it’s awful’ to a video of her modelling a new swimsuit and lip syncing to Meghan Trainor’s body positivity anthem All About That Bass.
After receiving the nasty comment, Kari responded with another video in which she proudly dances and sings along to the song while wearing a different bikini.
The social media star even rolls down her swimsuit to show off her stomach as she recites the lyrics.

In an empowering message to her followers, she emphasises the final line of the verse as she looks directly into the camera.
The vlogger sings along to the words ‘every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top,’ pointing at the camera as though she’s speaking directly to her followers.
Canadian-born Kari has clearly inspired her legion of fans to have more confidence in themselves, with many in the comments section taking on her advice to be less worried about what others think.

One follower called KayLynne wrote: ‘I have to say with me seeing all these plus size queens like myself out there my confidence has gone [up]’
‘My four-year-old daughter climbed up in my lap just as this popped up & she goes “mama, she is so pretty,”‘ another woman wrote, to which Kari responded, ‘Tell her I love her.’
Another fan praised Kemp for revealing her stomach, saying: ‘I didn’t expect you to pull the suit down, that was fantastic’.

Others pointed out that Kari’s joyful response to the troll had likely made them think about their actions as the comment had disappeared.
