There’s nothing more uncomfortable than soggy, squelchy Ugg boots, but now fans of the divisive footwear will be able to keep their toes dry thanks to new protective rubber shoe covers.

The comfortable wool blend shoe, which have come back into fashion again this Autumn, have always had one major flaw, they aren’t waterproof, which is a necessity in winter.

However the Australian brand has created a solution called UGGguard which supposedly offer ‘style and defence against the elements’.

They cost £35 and can be worn with classic styles including the currently popular mini shape.

The quirky covers come in all popular UGG boot colours including beige, grey and black but they are also available in a bright bubblegum pink which is currently on sale for £23.99.

On their website UGG said the covers ‘add a statement’ to your UGG boots.

Brand consultant Oli Royce, from London, took to his TikTok account @oliroyce to show off the UGG covers with his New Balance trainers.

Many fashionistas have rushed to the comments with very mixed reactions to the shoe covers.
