Waitress who dyed hair blonde says being bimbo pays off as she triples tips

A casino waitress says she's tripled her tips by dyeing her hair blonde and becoming a ‘bimbo’ – and can apparently earn more than university graduates.

Rachel once had a more subtle look as she wore her long brunette tresses down and opted for minimal makeup.

But when the server had a style overhaul, she realised money started flowing in from her adoring customers.

Although she favoured pink attire and crop tops before her ‘bimbo’ makeover, Rachel really has upped the ante with her new look.

She's switched her natural hair colour for bright bleach blonde and now rocks a more glamorous makeup routine.

Rachel also kitted out her wardrobe with waist cinching and cleavage accentuating corsets.

She pairs these with mini skirts to really get the ‘bimbo’ look down to a T.

In a viral TikTok clip, she claimed: “Point of view: You went blonde and it tripled your tips.”

The waitress filmed herself with a fan of $100, $50 and $20 bills as she pouted for the camera.

Since her dramatic makeover, the busty blonde has claimed that she can make up to $80-$100,000 (around £67,000- £84,000) in a year – purely through tips if she sells 60 to 70 drinks a day with an average of a $5 (£4) tip a drink.

She has even gone as far to allege that the “older” generation do not “understand” that younger people can earn more in tips than someone with a university degree.

Since posting several clips to TikTok, Rachel has racked up 24,000 followers who follow her waitressing journey.

Some people have shared that the blonde hair works wonders for them too.

One person commented: “As a blonde I got more attention/flirty advancements, as a brunette I get less attention but more serious inquiries. As redhead got all the crazy men.”

Another user added: “Yes, people beg me not to but people give me so much more with blonde. Men love it.”

While a third voiced: “I’ve been blonde many times but I always get WAY more compliments with fiery red hair! From both men and women by the way.”

Someone else shared: “Can confirm, I started waitressing with blonde hair and made bank. When I dyed my hair red [money] went down.”

Meanwhile, a fifth person related: “I get more attention as a blonde.”

However, not everyone was so convinced that earning tips as a waitress was as reliable as going to study for a degree.

One person slammed: “You making more money than a degree. Lol for a few years and then you get forgotten but the degree sticks around for life.”

A second user remarked: “Unless you save up for your future or retirement it ain't worth it.”

This person said: “Sweets we did this in our 20s as well. Youth fades, a degree is forever.”

And, a fourth declared: “Fast cash jobs are nice when you’re young, then you reach like 30 and it’s hard on your body and people tip based on looks, younger people will replace ya.”
