Woman, 25, reveals how she curled her hair by wrapping strands around medicine bottles and hairspray cans – and insists the DIY trick would work using a BANANA

A woman revealed how she curled her hair using just medicine bottles and claw clips.  

Property developer Jillian Kreski, 25, from Manhattan, New York, was on holiday without her heated tongs and rollers so had to get creative. 

Using a Tylenol bottle and a Pepto Bismol bottle she borrowed from friends, she curled her hair around them and secured her locks with claw clips.

The resourceful beauty fan insisted the trick would work with almost anything – even a banana.

In a video, where she demonstrates the hair hack after forgetting her rollers going to a friend’s wedding Jillian from New York shows how she used medicine and pill bottles to create tumbling curls

In a video she shared online Jillian said: ‘POV, you go on vacation and forget to pack your rollers.’

In the clip, which has since gone viral, eh demonstrates how she used the pill bottles and secures them with large claw clips.

After 10 minutes, she unclips the claw clips and her blonde locks come tumbling down in perfect waves. 

Jillian said: ‘I usually style my hair with rollers because that’s how I like it, but I couldn’t bring them.

The 25-year-old from Manhattan insists you can use anything ‘roller shaped’ to achieve the look 

‘I used whatever pill bottles my friends had in the bathroom and pinned them with claw clips.

‘I sat with them in for around 10 minutes and they came out with a nice curl – just like with my rollers.

‘You could do it with any roller-shaped object – a banana, a water bottle, whatever you’ve got to hand.

‘As long as you have clips or something to hold it in place, you can use anything.’
