All the moments you may have missed from last night’s Love Island reunion

The 2023 Winter Love Islanders reunited last night for a lengthy reunion show hosted by presenter Maya Jama.

The special show gave a glimpse into the life of the islanders after they jetted home to the UK – and let them come face to face with former love rivals and hash out old arguments.

All 35 of the show’s stars gathered together to reflect on eight weeks in the villa, including winners Kai and Sanam.

“Tonight we relive the good, the bad and the medium handsome,” host Maya joked to kick off the show, but there were a few moments that really stood out to the viewers at home.

Shaq confronts “disgusting” Martin

After Tanya had her head turned by bombshell Martin in Casa Amor, her original partner Shaq was left devastated.

Tanya eventually dumped new boy Martin to return to her original beau, but it looks like they’ve not quite moved on and there’s still some bad blood there as Shaq slammed Martin for some of the comments he’s made since leaving the villa.

Branding his love rival “disgusting”, Shaq got heated as he brought up Martin making sexual comments about his girlfriend on a podcast.

On the Reality podcast, Martin crudely said of Shaq and Tanya: “On the outside world I would be f***ing your girl in ways you can't imagine."

Martin said that his comments had been taken “out of context” and host Maya stepped in to diffuse the tension before things could get more intense and told the pair that they could discuss further off-screen.

Lana and Ron awkwardly deny bust-up

Fans were looking forward to second place runner-ups Lana and Ron being grilled over an alleged row the pair had on the flight back from South Africa.

Following reports that the pair had left the airport separately after having a "furious fight on-board", host Maya confronted them about the rumours.

Ron joked that he had had a bit too much to drink and that his girlfriend had had to “look out” for him – but that they had later laughed about it.

However, fans online weren’t buying it as one wrote, “still not buying it” while another wrote that they’re “not gonna last let’s be real.”

Olivia is sheepish over Casa Amor argument

Olivia was keen to distance herself from a heated fight she had on the show with ex Kai as she watched a clip of her confronting her former beau back on the reunion show.

The 27 year old put her head in her hands as she cringed at the video and told viewers that she “didn’t recognise herself” on-screen.

She added that she now “respects” Kai’s decision not to apologise for recoupling with new girl Sanam and that she was “happy” for them.

Olivia then said that she now realises that the argument “wasn’t necessary.”

Zara and Jordan find love off-screen

Bombshells Jordan and Zara both headed into the Love Island villa this year – but not at the same time.

However, this didn’t stop them finding love once the cameras stopped rolling.

After Jordan was dumped from the villa he admitted that he had asked Zara out on a date and on the reunion show, Zara confirmed: “we are dating.”

Online, some viewers lamented the fact that they had missed out on a potential on-screen romance as one twitter user wrote that they “defo would’ve been finalists” if they had been in the villa together.

Iain Stirling is MIA

Fans of the show were delighted to see everyone involved in the show get together one last time, but couldn’t help but notice that one very critical element was missing in action.

Comedian Iain Strling, who has done the voiceover for the show since its’ very first series back in 2015, was absent from the reunion show.

Fans online were furious at his apparent exclusion from the special, and took to social media to complain.

One wrote “where was Iain Stirling to dish the dirt?” whilst another remarked that it was “strange” he wasn’t in the studio.

"Terrace Tom" is confronted by his exes

The Love Island producers showed no mercy as they forced third place couple Tom and Samie to come face to face with all of the other girls he kissed on the villa's infamous terrace.

Lydia, Zara and Ellie were invited to join the couple on the sofa but the semi pro footballer seemed to be refusing to make eye contact with them.

Clearly feeling awkward, fans accused Tom of "refusing to even look" at his former fling Zara as she talked about their time together on the show.
