Bargain Hunt fans convinced 'unmentionable' antique is actually something VERY rude | The Sun

BARGAIN Hunt fans are convinced an 'unmentionable' antique is actually something very rude.

The BBC One show aired its latest episode on Thursday as Charlie Ross presented the programme.

It broadcasted from the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge.

Meanwhile, experts Thomas Forrester and Tim Weeks guided the two teams on the hunt for a bargain.

However, viewers' attention soon turned to Charlie after he picked up a mysterious item at the fair.

Speaking about the object, the 72-year-old said: "When I saw this at the fair I fell in love with it and I had to buy it.

"I wasn't immediately sure what it is. It's actually made of ebony. It's on three stands, its got a loose bit at the top. Looks like a beehive to me."

The presenter then approached people in the crowd to ask them what they believed the object was.

But fans at home were convinced it was a butt plug that Charlie had unknowingly bought.

Taking to social media, one said: "Its a butt plug #BargainHunt."

"Looks like something not to be mentioned.#BargainHunt," said a third viewer.

While a fourth said: "Wooden butt plug."

Despite being so certain, it turned out that viewers were actually wrong.

The item was later confirmed to be a 19th century string holder.

Bargain Hunt airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
