COLDPLAY fans have been left furious after missing out on tickets for the band's upcoming 2023 shows – after they went on sale today.
Hundreds of thousands of people queued online for hours ahead of the release of the tickets, only to be left disappointed.
Tickets for the Coldplay gigs – which are due to happen across May and June next year – went on sale online at 10am on Thursday.
The sale happened shortly after the end of the latest string of Coldplay gigs in the UK last week – attended by thousands of fans.
Today, over 500,000joined the queue for the shows in Manchester, with a further 300,000 waiting online for the dates in Cardiff.
Fans took to social media to reveal they waited for hours in the mammoth queues in the hopes of securing a ticket – but were left disappointed as they sold out.

"Three and a half hours of queuing for Coldplay tickets for nothing," one wrote to Twitter, as another chimed in: "This is legit madness."
"I knew that Coldplay tickets would be hard to get but this is EXTREME," a third added, as a fourth chimed in: "I've waited in the queue for three hours, there's still 50k waiting before me."
"Well that's an hour and a half trying to get Coldplay tickets that I'll never get back," a fifth added.
While a sixth concluded: "Nearly two and a half hours wait only to be kicked out within five minutes. Angry."

It comes after Coldplay's latest tour came to an end this week – as they celebrated shows up and down the UK.
Coldplay's continuation of their World Tour next year will see them return to Manchester and Cardiff for select dates in 2023.
The band is due to play at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on May 31, June 1, June 3 and June 4 – and at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on June 6 and 7.
It came as an opportunity for fans who missed out on bagging tickets for their recent six sell-out shows at London's Wembley stadium.

The tour – which was powered by renewable energy in the floor – saw the stadium lit up in an immersive light experience.
Coldplay kicked off their World Tour earlier this year in South America, and have sold more than one million tickets since.
