Coronation Street fans call out blunder with Max Turner's bully – but did you spot it? | The Sun

CORONATION Street fans have spotted a blunder with one of Max Turner’s bullies.

The teenager – who is played by actor Paddy Bever in the ITV soap – has been terrorised by Blake and Chris for months.

Viewers will remember them manipulating Max into sending them a naked picture – only to blackmail him for cash to stop them posting it online.

In last night’s episode they returned to attack Max once more.

He was left distraught when they jumped him and battered him in the street.

Bloodied and bruised, Max was humiliated – but fans were totally distracted by an apparent blunder.

They couldn’t quite wrap their head around one of the bullies, Blake, being Max’s age.

Played by actor Adam Little, fans questioned how old he was – asking if he is 30.

One wrote: “How old is the bigger bully, 30??"

Another added: “Anyone else scratching their heads over the age of Max’s bully??? Why is he so old?"

Meanwhile others have hit out at the aftermath of the attack that saw Max lured by Griff into a far right gang.

One wrote on Reddit: "This is turning into Hollyoaks. Max is obviously gonna be trusting of Griff, the far-right climate change protestor, and will probably become far-right himself.

“What I don't get is how Max was supportive of migrants but then all of a sudden hates them just because of one setback?

"The terminology and political spectrum is all out of place, and it's gonna make for a dreadful storyline."

A second said: "This is so pathetic. Have the writers of this programme not heard of nice things happening to people rather than a constant stream of violence and hate. It’s one issue after the next."

Another added: "This storyline is so predictable. He is going to encourage Max to be a racist scumbag, like himself."
