Eagle eyed Coronation street fans believe they have spotted a double blunder after Stephen Reid was found collapsed in the street by nephew David Platt, following a confrontation with Tim Metcalfe.

Corrie villain Stephen has already killed three people and viewers recently watched him attempt to add his wife-to-be Elaine Metcalfe to the list in a life insurance scam.

But just before he could get rid of Elaine, she found out that Stephen had been lying to her after she discovered Stephen on a zoom call with his ex-wife. Elaine then told her son Tim who then discovered that he had forged life insurance documents.

Protecting his mother, Tim got Elaine out of the way and confronted Stephen, telling him that the game was up and that they were going to report him to the police.

A a result, there was a struggle between the two where villain Stephen banged his head on a staircase. Tim then fled the property as Stephen was seen staggering onto the street before collapsing and bleeding from a head wound.

David Platt then found injured Stephen and later Tim was arrested him on suspicion of GBH, as police explained that there was CCTV evidence.

Eagle eyed Corrie fans were quick to comment on an error which could be all part of Stephens big plan.

One fan took to social media to ask: "How come he was holding one side of his head then when he collapsed the injury was on the other side??", while another said: "When he’s indoors he holds one side when he gets outside he’s bleeding from the other. Oops."

A third added: "If you look closely he holds his right side if his head first then his left side with no blood”, while another said: "He didn't know which side of his head to hold first it was the left then right & into the center of his forehand."

This wasn’t the only blunder that fans shined a light on as some also pointed out an interesting aspect about the cctv findings.

One fan said: "About time it should all come out now he's got away with it for too long. Strange cctv now but not when he was killing people,” while another said: "Got CCTV if Tim attacking Stephen but no footage of Stephen killing a man in a pool in a fancy house."
