THERE is panic on the Coronation Street cobbles as a villainous character appears to be setting out for revenge.
Fans of the soap will be left fearing for Leanne Battersby and Nick Tilsley when they both receive a letter.
The couple eventually discover the letters are from the prison and are invitations to see a certain inmate.
Nick, played by Ben Price, shows a shocked Leanne (Jane Danson) the prison invitations and confirm they have come from the notorious Harvey Gaskell.
The panic-stricken pair agree not to respons to Harvey’s invitations and they rip up the letters.
However, this shocking turn of events begins to seriously take its toll on Leanne and she confides in Nick that is has left her a wreck and a bag of nerves.

A torn Leanne admits to Nick that she will not be able to comfortably rest until she finds out exactly just what it is that Harvey wants and why he has decided to reach out and get back in contact with them.
Harvey, played by current Strictly star Will Mellor, was last seen on-screen during 2021’s high-octane ‘Super Soap Week’ where he escaped prison after Sharon Bentley betrayed him in order to get him locked up.
Harvey then wreaked havoc on the street by attempting to get his revenge on Leanne.

In a case of mistaken identity, Harvey fatally shot Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) after she was dressed in the same Halloween costume as Leanne leaving Nick’s son Sam motherless.
Harvey was eventually caught by police after Leanna manages to knock the drug lord unconscious by crashing the car with them inside into a skip.
