Coronation Street spoilers see Daisy stunned as her estranged mother shows up

Coronation Street spoilers see Daisy Midgeley, played by Charlotte Jordan, stunned next week as her estranged mother, Christina, played by Amy Robbins, shows up on the cobbles unannounced.

In upcoming scenes, Jenny Connor shows stepdaughter Daisy another bouquet delivery with her name on it and the latter is seriously unnerved when her phone rings with an unknown number.

Later, Daisy is sure that the mysterious phone calls she’s been receiving are from an online admirer, Justin, who she had previously spoke to in a hospital waiting room a few weeks ago.

However, when Justin calls at the Rovers and asks Daisy if she liked the flowers, she is quick to ask if he is behind the calls to which he denies ringing her phone.

A dumbstruck Daisy then decides to ring the number that has been calling her and is shocked when her estranged mum Christina walks in with her phone ringing.

Daisy makes it clear she wants to keep her mum at arm’s length, so how will she react when fiancé Daniel Osbourne plots to make peace between the pair ahead of the wedding?

Elsewhere, when Max Turner watches a live video of Blake turning up to Maria Connor's refugee drop-in session at Speed Dahl, he senses he’s up to no good.

Soon, it becomes clear Blake’s targeting Maria. As things spiral out of control, Blake claims Max’s videos inspired him to go on a stabbing spree. Soon, the police arrive to arrest Max on suspicion of incitement to murder.

Also on the cobbles, while Fiz Dobbs is out, Evelyn Plummer is concerned to see Tyrone Dobbs dressed up smartly, climbing into his car.

Worried Ty’s having another affair, Evelyn grabs Roy Cropper and they follow him to a posh hotel where they see him looking cosy with a blonde woman. Is Tyrone up to no good?

Elsewhere, Kirk Sutherland pays Hope Stape to look after Peanut the dog, but there’s trouble when Cilla the chinchilla escapes and the girls find her dead on the carpet – as Peanut watches on!

Also, Stephen is horrified to learn from Sarah that the factory has CCTV, knowing there will be footage of his attack on Teddy. But with Sarah keen to keep her meeting with Michael at the factory a secret from Carla, the pair plan to delete it.

Coronation Street continues on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITVX.
